Over the past twenty five years I have come to the realization that there is no camera
I will be happy with. Started off with film stuff and Nikon Fbodies. The early digital stuff was kinda OK for low rez web stuff early on but the first digital camera
with IQ I could live with was an early Sigma. Next was a Canon 1d2, then an early rebel, a 7d, a 1d4, and a 1dx was my last sdlr. Lately I have been using some mirrorless bodies. They tend to be smaller and more able to deal with the humidity, moisture, and water
around boats. Really like my Oly EP in a housing and the new Nikon aw1 is small and fun to use even if it can not do splits like the Oly.
Of course the mirrorless bodies do not have the responsiveness of a true dslr and you really need something like a 220 Zen dome for consistent splits. As my friend Zee says, without pix it did not happen.
