Re: ALL IS LOST: The Movie

Gawd.
Why do we Aussies usually have to wait so bloody long for such stuff?!
Aren't they trying to discourage downloading them?

Re: ALL IS LOST: The Movie

Apparently not for general release to theatres anywhere yet.

All Is Lost (2013) - Release Info - IMDb

The Film Festival pre-release in Australia was earlier than US, where it was produced.

I can't think of another movie where there is only one actor.

There was that guy with the coconut... he was alone 95% of the movie.. from the plane crash on I think.

Prolly used one for the exterior shots, then cut apart the other two for interior shots. Hard to fit a camera, cameraman, and director all in the forepeak or quarterberth for hours on end.

I take it back, a month after the US ain't so bad.
I remember seeing it scheduled at the Melb Film Fest for August 8th I think, but when I went to book a ticket it was sold out.

I hear ya.

We'll have to get together and act out the movie with sock puppets. I'll play the boat and the shipping container...

There's a lot of buzz on this one. Will any of the boat shows get an advance screening?
