Question St Augustine, FL Marinas...

I am hoping to move my boat to St Augustine area this Fall (09) and was wondering if there are any particular recommendations. Checking on line, it seems Camachee Cove marina would be a good place (read: protected; as I travel for weeks at a time and don't want to worry about my boat during storms and away from the tourists, a relatively quiet place) however, the young lady who answered the phone didn't quite give me the warm and fuzzy feeling as far as the controlling depth at the marina goes. Layla draws just under six feet and I don't want to have to wait for high tide to get out.

I am currently at Amelia Island, FL and it is hopeless to get out of the marina channel at low tide; very frustrating.

Any/all info will be much appreciated.

Fair winds to all!

S/V Layla
