Rock Hall Landing Marina, Rock Hall Maryland

We're spending this Saturday night at Rock Hall Landing Marina, sailing from Annapolis. Couple of questions:

1) It looks like there's patch of shallow land that prevents an approach from the southwest and that the best approach is from due south. Are there any other obstructions about which we should be aware?

2) What is a customary tip for a person or persons from the marina on shore who assist with docking a boat?

3) Any restaurant recommendations or places with live music (two adults)?

If you are in Rock Hall...you are there....

I usually tip a fiver to each person never to a Manager or Dockmaster.

Tipping around the bay is a rarity......but it pays off if you can get the dockhands male or female to schlep your ice/groceries etc.

Must have been reading you telepathically, because that's what we did.
