Need Slip Near Albany / Troy / Erie Canal

We will be leaving Lake Ontario in June for a year. We will need to leave our Gemini 105M catamaran (34' x 14' x18") near the Albany/Troy/Erie Canal area of the Hudson River for 4-5 weeks, mid July to mid-August.
I have gotten some prices, all are based on regular transcient rates ($1.25-$1.50/ft/day).
It may not exist, but I would appreciate it if anyone has a cheaper option they can let me know about. I'm not looking for anything free, we are willing to pay for a secure location. A mooring ball at Castleton is cheap, but not really something we would want to do.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Mark,

If you look further from the Albany metro area you may find it a little cheaper.
The Schenectady Yacht Club is nice and safe and at $1/foot/day. I would also call some other marinas and give them an offer. This year marinas may be hurting to fill their docks and would take any reasonable offer, especially if you do not use any electricity while your away.
