Check out Jabin's in Annapolis. We did exactly what you are doing but it was a number of years ago. Our stay there was exactly what we needed.
Good luck.

Might check out Herrington Harbor North - about 10 miles south, large full service yard with a large West Marine on-site. Less conveninet to BWI though. Only other options on South River are Liberty and Pier 7 unless you belong to a club that has reciprocity with Selby Bay YC. Lots of places in Eastport. A 50 foot slip will be hard to come by. A mooring ball in Annapolis is about $25 a night! You might call the harbormaster and see if they will give you a monthly rate.
I lived aboard years ago at Herrington Harbor North, this is a really great facility with excellent services and a west marine onsite! Can't get much better for getting a boat ready. The only issue will be if they have enough draft to get you in and out. I would call.

Alternatively Herrington Harbor South is more of the "resort style" and costs a bit more, less time to the open water and deeper water all the way in if memory serves.

I also really liked various marinas in the Solomon's Island area.

Keep in mind that since sailing is a 6/9 months of the year thing in Maryland the cost for month to month slips is generally setup such that 4 to 5 months of month to month fees equals the yearly charge. The reason is that many boats spent half of the year out of the water and so marinas are empty during the winter.

An interesting alternative is to haul out for the time you are doing work and it will be MUCH less expensive.

Try Holiday Point then (in Selby Bay near the mouth of the South River), or try Pier 7 (across the river from Liberty). Also compare with all the Annapolis Back Creek marinas... and also Galesville... and Deale. For example you can use ActiveCaptain to survey the area, then check websites or call direct (latter usually gets you the best info).

The city marina in Cambridge MD on the eastern shore is inexpensive. About $1800/year for a slip. There are haul out facilities in Cambridge also.

Re: Need marina recommendation in Annapolis for 2-3 months

There are many good places but a few questions and answers;

If you are looking for temp space and perhaps haul and major services -

Herrington Harbor North can handle you and is a standard by which any other marine will pale in comparison. It's a little pricey for a slip but far less than Annapolis.

Closer to BWI - is Blakes Bar Harbor, deep water and there is a slip that will hold you that is open. Ed Blake is a great guy and it's quiet. Pasadena Yacht Yard is up the creek and you get a discount for services and fuel.

Agreed that Liberty Marina is nice and convenient to the highway but it does get rough there at times, not too rough but more than Herrington or Blakes.

On the other side of the Patapsco river is Old Bay Marina, very cheap and Brian is another great guy too!

Are you flying in and out a lot? Then stick to Blakes or Old Bay. 20 minutes or less to BWI.

Need just about any service or item for your boat? Herrington Harbor North.

What about sailing down towards Norfolk? There are some great places there and Southwest flies there too. It would get you closer and a couple of more weeks of warm weather before you had South.

Also consider Castle Harbor Marina on Kent Island. Low key, very nice, cheaper than Annapolis for sure. We also love Zanhiser's on Solomons Island.

$825 is probably good for Annapolis area. If you REALLY want to be in Annapolis, you will know why. I know of a slip that is empty. The owner just said she was unable to rent 3 of her slips this year. Beam? Draft? Length?

I just saw the reference to Old Bay Marina. Good Choice! FAR cheaper.
