Need Easy In/Out Slip in Annapolis, MD Area

I am usually single handing and need a 40' slip that is easy to get in and out of...prefer one well shadowed from cross winds and currents.

We have the perfect slip for you: on Whitehall Creek, it's an outside slip, so straight in, back out. It's a 45 foot slip. When do you need it and for how long?

Re: Need easy in-out slip in Annapolis, MD, area.

Probably sometime in August. We have a 35 foot boat and usually look for a 40' slip because of the bowsprit and radar arch/dinghy davits. We draw 5 feet. We will need something for the rest of this season and possibly longer. What is the location (GPS coordinates?) and cost?

We've got a slip that would work for you in my marina (just a slipholder - I don't work here). Send me a PM with an e-mail address, length (confirm 35 w/ overhangs), beam, and draft (confirm 5') and I'll connect you with the office. We're on Back Creek in walking distance of Eastport restaurants, laundry, grocery, and chandlery.

We love your slip, although it seemed too wide for our boat and would be a challenge to grab the line off the one outer post. But for anyone else who might want a great slip, we can attest to how protected it is, the water is a min of 10 feet deep, and it is easy in and out, and getting there by car is very easy. Thank you for your offer.

Hello Hannah,

I realize this thread is pretty old, but I am also looking for a long term slip in the Annapolis area. I am currently in Minnow Creek just off of Whitehall Creek. Please PM me if you still have a slip available or have any recommendations in the area.

LOA-40', Draft-6', Beam-10"

Thanks,
Mark
