Need Dock in Pensacola or Points East - Now!

Launching fully restored & ready to bring back here to home (Yankeetown, FL) Pearson P39 (pic attached). Nice Addition to Your back Yard for a few days perhaps?

I need a deep water (5' MLW) slip ASAP for basically 1 WEEK (not longer) as going over & launching has to be 1 "event", heading over w/crew for safety to bring back here, another.
Rafting to Your vessel...not a problem.
Don't need electric,
Don't need water,
Just need something to secure to for 5-7 days while back here & in transit (it's a 7 hr. drive from where she's at on the hard {Bayou Chico} back to here & renting a car for return back there w/crew of 2 more.

I'm splashing this Week/Weekend (between 21st & 25th) & would desperately rather secure at YOUR DOCK/SLIP for a reasonable Fee (until Mon-Tues for Return after w/e back here (home/YT) to pick up crew. It's 48 hrs(+) straight shot fm. P-Cola back to here & I'm not up to it singlehanding on the "shakedown".

IF You Have a Slip/Dock Available in P-Cola, Gulf Breeze, Destin, Panama City Beach...ANY Point EAST of P-Cola, I can work out the rest of the details. CALL or email please? She's no hunk of junk & would ENHANCE the view in the yard for a few days, I don't want to anchor out if it can be avoided. Money isn't a problem, timing & geography Are.

Thanks for any & All replies,
-Mick

The Alabama, Pensacola and Northwest Florida area Boating, Fishing, Maritime History and Gulf Coast Retirement and Vacation Real Estate Site <--- no frills

Marina Management <---- downtown, close to everything , very nice marina.

pensacolamarinas.com <--- very nice protected Marinas on the Bayou Chico.

In case you dont find a private slip somewhere.

Awesome! THANKS!

Looks like Palafox will be the jumping off point...
Thank You immensely;
Called previously & they had no slips available.
Now they do.
Problem solved.

Good news Mick!

What do you call three power-boats sunk in the lake?
A pollution problem.
What do you call 30 power-boats sunk in the lake?
A bigger problem.
What do you call all the power-boats sunk in the lake?
Problem solved.
Sorry Rick, et al.

GORD (& Anybody else still following)

Now actually planning on jumping on the transient dock(s)....ACROSS THE BAYOU (Chico) At
"Pelican's Perch Marina & BoatYard"...about 1.5NM fm where we're on the hard now, & a whopping $25. a DAY w/BOATUS Membership!

I can live w/that # for 2-5 days as the goal was to return back here, muster crew & head back w/1way rental car. An additional burden was the fact that the current yard has 18 Boat Stands (only 6 of which are under my boat) that I needed to reclaim & return here with. Already gutted a pathfinder so they "should"(when stacked & then "inserted", at least the tall & short Sailboat models) Fit for the return after splashing trip home.

Multiple cans of worms now closed & contained. Looks like heading out this pm late for early am arrival to do the nasty (touch up bottom paint, etc.), organize, & splash. 2 days of "stupid stuff"(like RawWater Impeller replacement, etc.) & across the bayou she goes.

Thanks Everyone for the assistance & good thoughts (as in prayers!).

Gord...
My Grandfather had a saying (actually a bunch of them) :
"Engines are for folks who never learned to sail".

W/all the shallows, ripping tides in jetties & cuts to the ICW, Sandbars that CONSTANTLY Shift (usually to the MIDDLE of the channels), and the clue that You're in trouble of FWB 2 miles from breakers w/a 5' Draft and see surf fishermen 100yds away casting practically to Your hull standing in 4' of H2O (w/an "onshore" breeze of course)...I've learned over the years to modify my GF's statements of "fact".

"Engines are for folks who never learned how to sail, and the Coastline of the Gulf Of Mexico". Don't worry Gord, I'll try to "pollute" as little as possible (we don't own any "motorsailers" for just that reason). Will fill Y'all in on the return trip as it happens (oh, yes, internet on board is not a biggie compliments of the Palm Treo & when it gets signal, I can get online w/the laptop; we will be looking for better alternatives once back here as well.
