I would like to explore the possibility of creating a
multihull marina in South
San Diego Bay, between the Chula Vista and National City
marinas. It would be in the shallow area between the wildlife preserve to the north and the
boat yard just south. You can see it on
Google Earth.
The attached sketch shows the general idea. I just copied the Chula Vista marina and pasted on the proposed site. For multihulls, slip widths would be between 16 and 32 feet, so there would be half the number than shown. We would need to look at low tide
water depth, which should be at least 4 feet.
I would need a lot of help: financiers, financial planners, lawyers, designers, contractors, etc. This would have to be pro bono at the start with perhaps free slips as the reward for their effort.
Best to reply to my
email bob@rfbourque.net. Thanks, Bob Bourque
