Returning from Grenada
and heading north on the intracoastal we experienced some engine
problems and also work was getting anxious for me to visit a few sites as we were a few months overdue so we spent 6 weeks or so at Cocoa Village marina where I pulled the port engine
and had the local Yanmar
dealer punch it out 25 thousands and install new bearings and what not and had the valves and seats ground at a local auto engine rebuilder within hours and for $40.00! (not the block work) We loved it there, easy busing to shop, lots of local eateries, real nice folks and facilities and neigbours. We will be returning there this fall on the way to the Bahamas
. A little north of Stuart but works well for us.
