Marina data base?

What do other C and S users think about starting a data base of marinas/ports?
There are allot of websites out there but the information is sometimes out of date and they all seem to add on a few bucks for the privilege of using them.
If there is already a data base on S and c where is it?

Have they added a marina section? They have great stuff on clearning in and out of countries and general cruising areas but I don't recall much detail on marinas?
