Ixtapa and Acapulco Slip Fees

Taking our 42' Catalina from Nuevo Vallarta to Ixtapa and Acapulco. We need to leave her in a slip during Christmas so we can fly home. I cant find slip fee rates for either location. Is one less expensive than the other?

Acapuclo's marina would probably have room, it looks very safe inside the marina maybe not out side. A mooring ball was $40 us. I don't think there is another marina at Ixtapa. Bara De Navidad has a marina and it is very nice.

250 berth marina (15 for visitors) with potable water, electricity, showers and toilets. Laundry, pumpout and fuel dock. Dry storage and 25 ton travelift. Mail/message sevice, restaurant, pool, tennis courts, and security.

New Marina 2014. Located in the West End right before you reach Acapulco Yacht Club. Med mooring. Fuel dock. Rather isolated.

The marina at Ixtapa was deluxe a few years ago. I have no idea about rates or availability. It is in a nice area but a bus or cab ride to Zihuatenjo, which has everything. There were nice restaurants, hotels, a small marine store. Buses are easy to get in to Zihua. Acapulco used to have a very bad rep with cruisers but may be better now.
