East Coast Marinas

Hi All,
I guess I'm looking for recommendations for a marina that has it all. Mostly around the CT, NJ and NY area.......bars, clubs (party atmosphere) food stores and a decent boat shop and of course slips. Much like Alamitos Bay in SoCal. Any suggestion would be great.

Cheers,

Wojo

Re: East Coast Marinas

We just spent a few night in Atlantic City in NJ. The marina was Kammermans. Lots of night life. Not a lot happening at the marina but LOTs happening around the marina - day and night. They had a good ships store and where super nice people. It is right across from the Golden Nuggett Casino that also had a marina and a bar, the price was double there.
I also like City Island Yacht Club - they have LOTS going on around the marina tooo but it is moorings not slips. I am also from the Bronx so I like this area. I am sure other people on this site will know a little more about some other places!

Re: East Coast Marinas

I'd highly recommend the 79th St Boat basin on the Hudson.

It's a city owned marina, great for transients. Secure and a built in bar and restaurant.I don't think the restaurant is open in the winter ..
