Anyone keep their boat on City Island?

Specifically the eastern side. Looking at minneford marina. I've heard that a strong NE wind can cause havoc on the docks. Anyone have experience with this?

Thanks!

Gregg,
I keep my sailboat on the western side of the island just for that reason. But then the western side is exposed to winds out of the south that wreaks havoc there. I'm not sure which side of the island is better but a Nor'easter is a storm you get a warning about and gives you time to either move your boat elsewhere or not. On the western side we have had surprise strong winds during the night which took boats off their moorings and acted like bowling balls through the fleet. My first year there my boat sustained $15k worth of damage. I'd ask the people on the eastern side the damage, if any that they have sustained.
