Welcoming some members to the Admin team!

It is with great pleasure to let you all know that Kai Nui, delmarrey and Alan Wheeler (plus one more that we are waiting to hear back from) have all been promoted to site administrators. We will be working on some initiatives like assigning moderators to forums, a monthly newsletter, boat & equipment reviews, etc and the admins will help us execute some of these ideas with your help.

So please congratulate and thank Kai Nui, delmarrey and Alan Wheeler for stepping up to help our community in this capacity.

Must be nice to be bringing down the serious money now. Promotions deserved and well rewarded. Seems like good choices to me.

Calabasas, California to be more precise!!

The mayor put a total ban on outdoor public smoking, in all public places.

Fines would be issued to those caught smoking in public.

Now that's cracking down!!

Congrats on your new jobs as moderator; and don't spend your pay check all in one place. I'm just about to resign as a moderator in a model railroading forum after 5 or 6 years at the helm of it; it was thoroughly enjoyable - no head cases if you can believe it - but it was time to move on. As the old saying goes, no one learns like the teacher and I know that was true in the forum I moderated - layout design. I suspect you guys will increase your knowledge as people come in with questions and you pass them on to other links, advise, occasionally laugh, and share in some of the tragedies that happen to us all.

Enjoy your moderator's sojourn here.

rsn48, Thanks. It has already been a learning experience. Couldn't ask for better people to work with.

I just moved into this really big corner office. Andy did say the offices here were first rate. I just can't get over how close to home it is. I still need to wander the hallways and see who is where.

The dock could be closer. A Cruising forum ought to be closer to the dock.
