We got help! Welcome new moderators.

We have a couple of new moderators.

Boracay and TaoJones have both generously offered their time and energy to help keep the board polished up and running smoothly. Thanks for stepping up guys, we can use the help!

This is great news! You cant find two more knowledgeable sailors on this board, and both are wonderful with words. There, did I kiss up enough? Congrats guys, you have made a great forum even better! Chris

For those who may recall TaoJones was predicting the recession early last year and I argued against.

We figured we need to a guy with good sense close at hand - I am relying on him to time the recovery for me - LOL...

I'm pretty sure Dan and I began our economic discussion late summer/early fall 2007 after I posted my observation that the American economy had been teetering on the brink of catastrophic collapse for 35 years. As to when the recession will end, well, I'm sorry to report that it will end when people realize it's actually a depression.

As to when that will end . . . uhm, are you sitting down? . . . OK - not soon, and not in the way most seem to think and hope, with a return to "the way it was." Alas, those days are gone forever.

Sorry.

TaoJones

I actually heard that today also...The spin doctors are talking end of 2010 for the recession. The analysts are talking the d-word and saying many years and forget about the good old days...

Thanks Celestial! Like Tao needed a warning... he's already had to correct me twice! As for the market, I learned everything I know about trading from "Trading Places"...still a great movie. Hell, I may corner the frozen orange juice market myself someday! Now lets see... first I need a hot prostitute to take me in...
