I am declaring an early warning here, about the spellcheck.

This morning when I was installing it. It lead me to another website. And that in my experience tells me. That could mean trouble?

I already informed AndyR about that. Like he said. There will be bugs!!

Actually, I do see one possible little glitch. When I get an Email to tell me I have a response to a post, I seem to get an email just because I have participated in that thread. Not JUST to my response only. This means I get inundated by email responses and I guess it is what K is finding a pain.

Damn straight Alan.

It is a pain in the ass!!!

AndyR should've left that option out of the upgrade. As it already is. I'm already inundated with other email as it is!!!

Yeah, some of the upgrades are fine and dandy. But, I personally think the other features "only" needed upgraded. And the rest of the former forum should've been left untouched?

Talking

AhhhHahhhh, found the smilies. I had been using the quick reply only.
K, the old software had the Email option as well. It just wasn't working. Several features simply failed to work on the old system.
Having the features work is cool, but you need to be able to turn them off if you don't want them. Be patient, I expect the issue will get resolved as soon as Andy deals with the more important problems.

I do have a new "bitch" gripe, about this new upgrade.

The member's photo gallery is "gone". Right now. The only thing in there is a few things Gord posted in the photo gallery.

But, no photos of boats what-so-ever!!

Boy, that stinks!!!

It means everybody has to repost their photos, all over again!!

No way, I am just having trouble with the import. I have a ticket open with the software vendor and should get all the old photos imported this next week.

Here is a post about how to change your subscription settings and some other options. You can pretty much manage your experience on the forums from all the options in your User Control Panel.

For members on slower dial up connections you can even turn photos off, turn avatars off, etc to save bandwidth.

A glitch has developed as of today. When I select the link to this forum from my favorites, it takes me to the main page, then immediately redirects to a "Page not found" page. The address bar shows www.cruisersforum.com/profile . From this page, if I hit the browser back button, I am sent back to the home page, then immediately redirected back to the "Page not found". If I click on the "cruisersforum.com" link on that page, it takes me to the home page and it works fine. I did delete the link from my favorites folder, then re saved it, but this made no difference.
