Parasitic scammer scrubbed from Cruisers

Recently a new member registered and began sending out PM's to Cruisers members that were blatant spam. They contained an offer to get rich quick by helping him invest a recent inheritance as well as a request for banking numbers so he could wire funds from Nigeria direct to your account.

When this was reported today we removed this individuals account as well as all the PM's that he sent out. You may have received a notice that you got a message from this member but when we scrubbed the account, the PM's were also removed.

If you receive spam via your account here we want to know as this is not allowed. To report abuse, you can use the contact us link at the bottom of the page or message any moderator.

We do not share your member info with anyone, but can't entirely prevent an existing member from abusing the PM system. Thanks to those of you who reported this parasite today - it hastened his departure. Sorry for the inconvenience folks and just a reminder.... if it looks too good to be true it probably is.

Darn I missed out on a great "investment" once again. I seem to always miss out on the easy money and have to work for a living. Since the inception of the internet there seems to be a huge rise in rich Nigerians dieing off.

This site torments the 419 Nigerian type scammers.

I often laughed tears in reading this guy's exploits. He toys with the scammers and baits them into photographing themselves doing outrageous things...ie. Putting dead fish on their heads, holding up goofy signs, getting real tattoos, etc. He tries to get the scammers to spend money on his behalf.

Janet,
It's nice to know the site is so closely monitored. I do wish, however, you would have waited a day or so before scrubbing him. I would have loved to send all my banking info to Nigeria. Nooooooooottttt!

The best revenge is to forward one scammers email to another. LoL It's funny. I bet they get a kick out of it too.
