New events calendar

The site calendar has been buffed up a little and now members can add listings of events of interest to the community.

October is looking like a busy month! Just click on any event for details or if you want to add an event look over to the top right of the calendar section to find the link.

You can find the calendar on the blue nav bar below the forum header.
Check it out - http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/calendar.php

Is there a way to do regional calender? Like NE. SE. SW. NW. MED. CARIB. etc.... this way we know what is going on in our area, or design it for readers input under our location and type of activity, just a suggestion.

Otherwise this site is a great wealth of information, Tony.

Not currently - although it's a great suggestion. You are welcome to put the location of an event in the title and that might help things down a bit.

Re: New events calendar

Do events posted go through a moderator review before they show up on the calendar? About an hour ago I tried to add a new event for the FP Owner's Rendezvous 20-24 November 2013 but it doesn't show in the calendar yet. It could be my Internet link dropped out just as I was saving the event, though. If so, I'll be happy to repost the event.

Thanks for posting about this... it looks like somethings broken - we'll have a look.
