New Chief Moderators

Our community is growing and we expect it to grow faster when we start telling the World we're here.

To help me keep an eye on the board, I've now 'employed' three Chief Moderators. They've been given some administrative rights like deleting or editing unwanted posts, banning members that keep on posting unwanted material after being told not to etc.

I don't think there will be too many unwanted activities on this board, so the main job for the Chief Moderators will be as active contributors/discussion partners in the forums they moderate.

Moderators can, if they want to, recieve an e-mail for each new post being submitted to his/her forum.

Pisces has been giving me a lot of great ideas for new forums and she is now moderating several. Check the link to 'Forum Leaders' at the bottom of the main page for details.

SouthSea grew up in the South Pacific and Australia. Now he lives in Norway and is moderating discussions on cruising on the other side of the World.

Popeye - he's 'The Sailor Man' and will moderate discussions on monohull sailboats.

I will still keep an eye on all forums, but I know I won't have the time when the board takes off.
