Phil's (Boatman61's) extensive knowledge of world cruising and the Iberian peninsula, in particular, will prove to be invaluable in putting quality, relevant flesh on the Cruising Wiki's bones, Bob. Boatman61 is one of the most prolific posters on CF.

Naw . . . not a big mouth . . . a big keyboard.

In my opinion, anyone who voyages beyond his / her local waters extensively is a world cruiser - like you!

AndyR is "behind" the site.

Thanks
If real name is optional, then why do we have to check the box to acknowledge our 'real name' is indeed our real name? However, I lied as usual, and opened an account with a pseudonym... just in case I pee anyone off....

You have now committed a Federal Offence (actually probably several dozen ). And those who have suggested that route are part of a conspiracy.

Given your location I wouldn't grow a beard

It is not necessary to fill in the "Real Name" box if you don't want to. It is a requirement however to give a short personal biography (at least 10 words) - an introduction, type of cruising/sailing, type of boat, etc., etc. (anything).

There is nothing sinister about the registration at all - it is just necessary to reduce/limit spamming and vandalism.

Enjoy your Wiki editing.

The registration form has been updated to clearly show what information is optional.

Hope that helps.

It is great to see a good number of new member registrations on the Cruising Wiki - mostly from here. Thank you. Just take one page at a time and build it up.

Please note that there are also a variety of general cruising and sailing sections/pages on the Wiki, with plenty of room for expansion. See the current Table of Contents.
