Hey Micheal.

Wow. I didn't know that your people do not have a Vietnam War Memorial. I think they deserve one? It's a damn shame!!

Nice weblink delmarrey.

That's how I found out about Canadians did not have a War Memorial for their Vietnam veterans.

Kevin, you missed the point. Boardings are 'consensual' because they are consented to by the country in which the vessel is flagged, based on existing treaties. The master is not in control of that consent but rather bound by the treaties and the decisions of his/her national authorities.

wow that some thread drift - USCG boarding rights to Vietnam allies.

BTW not many people know that some UK servicemen were actively engaged in Vietnam. These were normally on exchange posting with Australia and included SF and Navy.




Getting back to USCG. Some of the islands in the caribbean have given permission for US/UK to carry out the policing of their territorial waters "in support" of that islands forces.

UK warship very recently made a very major cocaine bust in the caribbean.
