St. Barts anchoring fees

Does anyone know the current anchoring fees for St. Barts (and maybe a website link with the info)? Thanks!

Re: St. Barts anchoring fees

If you mean st barths, it is free unless you anchor by the air channel into Gustavia. If I remember for a 50 ft boat it is about 13 euros a night. To med moor in Gustavia it is based on length x beam. For a 50 x 15 ft boat about 53 euros a night. If you anchor in Colombier or she'll beach then free. With all french islands clearing in and out is cheap

Re: St. Barts anchoring fees

Hi,
Yes, St. Barths. In 2006, we anchored in Anse a Corossol, just outside of Gustavia harbor, and paid 4 Euro per night. So maybe that would be 13 Euro now? I can't find a website with the information.

The anchoring fee isn't much. I think you are worrying about the wrong thing. How about a good night's sleep. Isn't that more important? It's a rolly anchorage. And crowded. I don't like it. Either go to the inner harbour, to the next bay north or to to Isle Forchue or somewhere else. Or you may be lucky with little swell, but I doubt it. There are no fees except for Gustavia.

Re: St. Barts anchoring fees

I was there last weekend.
2 nights in Gustavia anchorage was 17 for a 39 foot boat.

Columbier now has a fee. Its lower than Gustavia but I don't know what it is.

Isle Forchue is free for 7 days.

The only affordable place to drink is Le Select where beer is 3.50

DO NOT BUY SHOES! One pair of slip-ons was 1,400!!

Best wine prices is the supermarket behind the Capatanarie: bottom shelf in the middle French red wine quite drinkable 3.50 per bottle. Damn fine stuff.

Sent from a stupid phone that replaces words with weird stuff.

Re: St. Barts anchoring fees

I'm in the process of updating my book and wanted to add in the most current fees. I wish I could get some kind of web link that spells out the fees but haven't found one. I appreciate your help in any case. We went back to St. Barths a couple years ago (by plane that time) and ate burgers at Le Select, of course.
