Ah, no. Read that URL again. Your amateur radio
license allows you to use a marine SSB
radio on the amateur frequencies only--NOT the marine
frequencies. An amateur radio license allows you to use basically anything
on the allocated frequencies, if you can force it to radiate on them, and do so in compliance with the rules.
