Narrow channel poll...

Assuming that most here are familiar with the two threads originated by TacomaSailor in the Rules of the Road Forum, it seems like a good time for a poll question.

Re: Narrow channel poll...

For those who wish to vote it is multiple choice, meaning you have the option to select more than one rule.

Re: Narrow channel poll...

I have to admit that as long as I know what the rules say I don't care if I know what the numbers are. I'm not going to be at the helm frantically looking up rules, if I don't already know them it's too late.

Understood. It's all in fun anyway. Just checking the consensus vs. non-consensus meme.

Re: Narrow channel poll...

Primarily but not limited to 2, 9, 13...

These are substantive but...

One of the things not groked by some is all the rules apply as in a mosaic.

6, 7 & 8 came into play when a risk of collision was created.

16 & 17 were in play because a passing situation occurred.

If I had to guess I would say most if not all the "other" votes are for rule #2, and if I'd thought it out I would have added it to the list but at the time #2 seemed so intuitively obvious as to not warrant a spot on the list. My bad.

I was trying to keep it simple and most of the discussion seemed to focus on 9, 10, 13, and 18. In hindsight I should have added #2.
