If you want storage before rounding the Horn it will have to be Uruguay or Brazil
; Argentina does not have a long-term tax-free storage scheme that will let you keep the boat there more than a few months. I am afraid too many Argentines have abused the system design for nonresidents.
In Uruguay you can consider the Piriapolis dry storage yard (US$ 0.16 per day per square meter with area calculated as LOA
times beam plus one meter).
In Southern Brazil
you can consider leaving it in the water
in Porto Frade, close to Angra, with a good caretaker (hectorveleiros at yahoo dot com dot ar).
I have no idea about Chile
