Insurance requirements for cruising Japan & America
I will be heading North to Japan and then across to America next year and I wonder what the requirements for yacht insurance are. We have found no real requirement to have insurance here in Asia so far, even though we are fully insured anyway. Back home in Europe, insurance, at least third party is mandatory to be able to stay in many marinas. I feel it's probably wise to have insurance in America anyway. Any feedback would be welcome.
