| Registered User ![]() | Import duty, Australia to Thailand
I am planning on buying 2 small diesels in Australia and shipping them to Thailand. I checked the Thai customs website to try to get an idea of what charges I might be looking at and am a bit confused. It looks like duty on small marine engines is 30% but there are many other rates listed as well, ranging from exempted on up. It looks like it is possible that goods originating in Canada pay 12%, Japan 10% and Australia/NZ 5%. However the website is unclear. Does anybody have any info on import duties from Australia to Thailand? Thanks, Mike |
