How Long Does Documentation Take?

I recently purchased my boat and have to had the name change and documentation paperwork processed through the USCG. How long does this process usually take?

I have temporary registration that was provided during the sale, but I was told that the name on the vessel could not be changed until the coasties authorized it and I have all of my permanent registration. While I am not in any great hurry for this to happen, I am holding off repainting the top stripe and stern until I have the proper paperwork.

Thankfully this is just one project out of the several hundred I have lined up and have plenty of things to keep me busy, I was just curious if someone has been through the process recently.
