Gee Zee....it's not like a guy just needs to swim by a female for her to get pregnant... Excepting the sex slavery scene, educated women should have all the control over impregnating their own bodies that is needed.

I do agree that men who skip out on a conscious decision to have a kid are snakes

Re: Countries Wihout Extradition/ Dual Citizenship

some males do not understand that after having a legal union and befouling that, once there are little goats , the billy goat is usually encouraged by a court order to pay fro some of the room and board those lil kids need. that, considering htere was a consensual agreement and legal binding while spawning those goats, old billy usually decides arbitrarily that the b**** needs support the kids herself without his bludi help.
now that there were 2 joined in a legal and spozedly holy union, why is it so unholy for that male to pay for those kids... lol.
(note i carefully left out the word jerk in this description.)

as for intelligence..it has been proven without any doubt that there is no intelligence while spawning. not in any critter, mammal or otherwise.

Realistically, it seems as though you're starting from square one. Benefits / drawbacks are shaded by expectations and personal situations. Sorry - but there it is. Okay: you've taken step one and decided to check things out. As a suggestion, start reading here:

Home Page: Expat Exchange - Expats - Moving Overseas - International Living - International Jobs - Expatriate

List of Countries Covered: Expat Exchange Country Networks - Moving Overseas - International Living - International Jobs - Expatriate

Costa Rica: Costa Rica Expat Forum ~ Forum for Expats Living in Costa Rica

By reading through, checking out a few of the forums, you'll begin to get an idea of what concerns arise with the expats. Those will, in turn, answer some of your questions and lead you into thinking harder on the subject and awaken more questions. Many of us have made the decision - some survived it while others packed off back home. Not everyone is geared up mentally to be an expat. But the ones who make it work are well rewarded.

This site: The Scores and How Our 2013 Retirement Index Works ranks Costa Rica as 5th out of the top 22 retirement destinations in the world. Check it out!

Good luck!
Thank you for your well written informative post.

Wow, Belize was way down. That doesn't ring true to me. I'd like to know more about how they scored this. Take the climate rating for example. I find Belize near perfect.

Yes, but the OP has had plenty of opportunity to clarify. The mention of extradition immediately gives the impression of being a criminal, which is why I didn't answer as I would not be a part of aiding a criminal. If he didn't mean to use that word or didn't know what it meant then he should clarify.

Dual citizenship is a separate question and it can be accomplished in many places subject to qualifying to immigrate and gain residency and then citizenship. I know many with US citizenship who have moved elsewhere or live part time elsewhere and have decided on dual citizenship because they feel a special attachment to their new home.

Or maybe he is a FBI agent fishing around because he has a fugitive known in the boating community lol. I agree with you that the post is kinda left field for a cruising forum but still, lets not tar and feather the guy. Oh, i have dual citizenship. UK/Canada

There's some subjective concepts in that report! Take your example of Belize's weather... On another link in the site it claims: Climate: Tropical; very hot and humid; rainy season (May to November); dry season (February to May) It could be that many of the respondents come from countries with four distinct seasons, and that gives a subconscious twist to the evaluations. Hey! Some folk LIKE snow on the doorstep in the morning!

Also, a category like "retirement infrastructure" seem (from my reading, anyway) to be more biased somewhat towards art shows and museums - that don't require crowd interactions- than, say, pubs or nightlife activities where the crowd makes or breaks a place. Much more fun to watch the run up to the World Cup in a pub than sitting alone at home... IMHO.
