Changing Crew in Cuba

May have a few mates join me for the trip over to Cuba from Florida but they will have to get back to work and will be possibly getting off the boat there. Non of us are from the US so no worries with restrictions that way.

I have heard that swapping crew in Cuba can be a hassle, has anyone had experience with this, would be great to hear from some people who have been there and checked it out.
