Canadians buying a boat in grenada

Hello,
New to the forum, my question is, we are buying a UK registered boat in Grenada, does anyone know how to register it, in Canada, or else where. The transport Canada website is less than clear. It's a moody 419 if that makes a difference, 40'+.

Canadian boats are federally registered once imported. The same fellow's been doing it for years here in Toronto.

Hiya, thanks for the info-
We aren't planning on going back up north any time soon, and we have no broker involved in the sale, do we not have to register the boat in our home country? It is currently UK registered.
