Authority To Disembark

When we arrived in Fiji, the check-in cha-cha was pretty routine albeit it a little slow and expensive. Regardless, we didn't complain as we had been through much worse. Armed with a thick stack of official documents, we cruised Fiji without any incidents.

We knew all along that we were going to leave the boat there while we traveled back to the US for our daughter's wedding but we had been warned that we would need specific documentation upon our return in order to avoid paying a bond equal to the cost of a plane ticket out of Fiji, as we'd be flying in without any obvious means of leaving Fiji via commercial carrier. We thought we had everything well organized.

However, the marina where our boat is docked has asked us for a copy of our Authority To Disembark, which, apparently, we should have received when we first checked into Fiji. We have no such document (we scan and post all official documents into Google Docs so we can retrieve them from any computer with a printer).

Has anyone else received an Authority To Disembark when they checked into Fiji?
