Anchor light while med moored?

The best I can tell after Reading the regs it would appear that one must still use the anchor light while med moored.

What say you?

Re: Anchor light while med moored?

Yes. On the big boats we used to show an anchor light if we were alongside with the anchor in the water . You drop the anchor as you go alongside and heave it up when you leave to help you get the bow off the dock. Of course now they have bow thrusters.
