Zinc Anode

How do I get to know the right size/type of zinc anode I need for my boat? I could not find it in the manual nor on the manufacturer's website.

Most sailboat zincs attach to the prop shaft. What kind of boat do you have?

I'm no expert but normally the choice of anode(s) will vary dependent on the set up. Even same model boats can have differing shafts / outdrives / legs etc.
But it only took 3 minutes using Google to learn that at least one set up (alloy outdrive legs with stainless props) common on this model is reputed to have significant issues over galvanic corrosion. I suggest if you've that set up it might require more than just replacement zinc anodes.
Maybe complete some further research yourself and if you aim to keep the boat longer term, maybe also worth getting professional advice.

Call an authorized repair facility for the brand of outdrive you have. Have the outdrive model number handy. Bear in mind that you use different anodes in freshwater than you do in saltwater.

Actually for your boat, the best option will be dry stack storage.......this usually makes zincs last years and years and years
