Re: Wood Type For Painted Headlining
Sequoya (Redwood), NO western Red (burns like hell) Port Orford (beautiful), Marple (beautiful grain), Parana Pine (if you still can get it), - personally I would go for Redwood. Does not burn, is very safe to use, not really spectacular of grain but for headlining it wil do. Finally, it is not that expensive.
