windvane used as a mounting point

I was wondering if anyone has ever used any parts of the frame of windvane (monitor) to mount anything?

I have been contemplating getting a wind generator and don't if there is a way to avoid additional holes on the deck... I figured maybe there is an attachment point or something that could come in handy for my purpose.. Don't forget the monitor is built to withstand human weight to climb back aboard....
