Anybody can make a suggestion?
I have a 10 yr old Raymarine
instrument. It seems the wind
indicator is jammed (although anemometer turns freely), perhaps from anchoring
for a long time head
to wind, salt environment
and old age. I climbed the mast
, found it was hard to turn, wiggled it loose and smothered it with Mclube. A few day later, jammed again.
As climbing my mast
is not in my favorite list of things to do, can anyone suggest a maintenance
routine and/or the right lubricant (if any) to use on the indicator base.
