Where to Buy Refrigeration Parts ?

I have been planning for too long now. I was planning on buying parts from R-Parts but when I went to the link I had saved many moons ago. Their page comes up Sorry We are Closing. This dated several months ago. So not only did I miss them but also their clearance sale. Any way now I need to find a new source.

Any help would be appreciated.

It might help if you described your reefer system and gave your location.

You might be able to get some components from the manufacturers themselves or from boat "used parts" stores like Sailorman in Ft Lauderdale and others scattered around the country where ever there are large concentrations of cruising boats.

Sorry, your right I should have been more clear. I am planning on converting my ice box to a freezer and refrigerator. I am expanding it as well. 6 in. of insulation fiberglassed inside and out to create a sealed exterior envelope. I have one BD80F and will need another. I also will need the evaporators and condensers, expansion valves, controllers, and thermostats.

R-Parts had kits and sold parts for reasonable prices, I guess enough of us did not use their services, sad.

AHHhhhhh!!! SAILORMAN!!! That is one GREAT PLACE!!! I have lost count of the number of things I have purchased from them even before they had web existence. Way back they had a small catalog they mailed out.

I recently purchased an anchor that had unnoticed damage. I returned it for full credit...........no questions, no problems. A great place to do business with.
