Where are you buying your g-10 FR4 from?

I found a couple of sites on the net that sell it however one supplier sells it for 1/4 the price of the other. I just want to make sure its the real deal from the less expensive outlet. Where are you guys buying and what are you paying per sq. ft.?

site #1 sells .500 for $130 sq. ft., site #2 for $53 per sq. ft.

I usually get it from eplastics.com but if you find a cheaper place let me know I just use them because they have a large size selection.

I've done eplastics and McMaster. I've found for a lot of things gpo3 works just fine and costs less.

I buy it here: http://stores.ebay.com/NorVa-Plastic..._pgn=1&_ipg=48

Note: I have no relation with the seller other than a satisfied customer.

Re: Where are you buying your g-10 FR4 from?

There are a LOT of sources via www.Matweb.com & on that site you can look up an one of the dozens of varities of G10 so that you can order one which has the physical properties that you need. As there are a huge number of types of "G10", most with differing properties. Some being as strong or stronger than various grades of aluminum, others being weaker, or having better electrical insulative properties, etc.
Though for the most part, on boats, you don't need the super high end stuff. Or even G10 necessarily, vs. some similar sheet composite laminate. Just know that there are different types & grades, much as there are alloys of steel, or aluminum.

Go to www.curbellplastics.com and you can order on line. A lot less expensive the McMasterCarr. You won't have it the next day but that is why MC charges the prices that they charge. You can also order other plastics as well. Acrylic, polycarbonate, etc.

There isn't a Curbell Plastics in California. Which Curbell Plastics branch are you using?
