What wax to use

Since i have owned SoulMates, a Jeanneau DS40 (got her new) i have been consiences in keeping her fiberglass and all stainless looking nice - i have been using a 3M product for both and it is a bit expensive - can anyone recommend anything different - i thought about car wax but not sure what it would do to the fiberglass finish - also the stainless -
kinda like using pledge on the dodger plastic (or what ever it is) that keeps it clean and see through instead of going to $$$ marine store for a special marine product that is $$$$
thanks
chuck and soulmates

There are many threads on this forum speaking to this topic. Try out Collinite (and do a search on the forum for it as well). It's what they use on the megayachts you probably see going by down there. It's the best there is.

I use Collinite insulator wax. It is the best product that I have ever seen.
