Waterline

I compounded my Awlgripped hull (I know not recommended but 17 years old and looks much better, so don't need that dialogue) and the white boot stripe now has blue paint remains on it. I have tried Finesse, acetone and adhesive remover and it won't come of. Short of letting salt water moving by and scouring it clean again, any other thoughts on removal?

Re: Waterline

As I understand it you have a blue boat with a white boot stripe. You compounded the hull and got some of the blue onto the white.

I would try MEK.

Another option is Marine Strip. It's a very mild paint remover and vinyl cleaner.

My best guess is that you'll end up repainting the stripe.

Let us know how you resolve this.
