Marike,

Sunken cats can be repaired including the engines. Most electrical things that get wet cannot be repaired. So try to remove any electronics that are still dry and store somewhere safe and dry.. That is assuming it is safe to get on the boat.

Engines (but not the starter or electrical end of the generator), manual winches, sails, steering gear (not autopilot), hulls and the like can all be repaired. It will be a lot of hard work. Unless you are experienced in fiberglass work leave that to a pro. Cosmetic issues in fiberglass don't have to be fixed right away. You can always tell other cruisers they are Irma scars and you will probably get free drinks.
