Type of Paint for Engine Room / Area

Hi All
I am having my diesel tanks replaced on my Nauticat 44 motor sailer which involves the removal of the engine. While the engine room/area is empty I thought I would clean up the area and paint it. Any recommendations on the type of paint I should use in this environment.
Thanks

Yes, we just used the BilgeKote from International (?) and I'm very happy with it. The problem is the prepping of course... we used degreaser followed by vacuum and acetone.

cheers,
Nick.

White Paint in the engine pan....It helps you see leaks and find those dropped nuts and bolts quicker.

Amerlock 440 for me

PPG Protective & Marine Coatings

Nice big pictures of industrial stuff on the pack, so much cheaper than paint that has multi million dollar yachts in the pictures.

Amerlock is a first-rate 2-part epoxy coating (fabulous on steel)!

Marting, a left field option for you. When I was in the same situation with my launch in Perth, on advice from a friend ,repainted the engine area with Berger paving paint.
Fumes just about knocked me out, but sure was tough in service.
Some exercise on my current yacht, the painters had some Glasurit (??) left over from painting someones engines and used that.
