Hey guys, im not real great on boat mechanics and I have a little problem. I have a 2 stroke, 30 hp Tohatsu outboard motor. It is an older model but im not sure of the year. It died on me last year on the water. I replaced the fuel and spark plugs but it is throwin off a weak spark. I believe the problem is the power pack. It looks fine and the wires are intact but I dont know how to test it further. I know that it is receiving power because it shocked me, and I know the spark plug will throw a good spark, just not on this motor. Could anyone tell me if this is most likely the problem or if I need to try something else. Also could someone recommed a site to get a new pack that will fit an older motor for a price that will allow me to not use up my life savings. thanks alot!
