Thin Solid Surface Material

Does anyone know where to source a 1/8" solid surface material for countertops? wilsonart used to make a veneer that I used with great success in the past, but it is no longer available. thanks!

It is an Avonite product called Acrystone. I was told by the Avonite rep that it was renamed and sold by Wilsonart also. It is available in 1/8" x 30" x 144" sheets. Hope that helps.

It appears that the thinnest Avonite "Acrystone" product is 1/4" thick.

Solid surface products typically come in a few standard dimensions: 30" x 144" x ½", 36" x 120" x ½" and 30" x 98" x ¼".
With select products, Avonite Surfaces produces solid surface sheets with a width that may range from 27” to 60” and a length from 72” to 204”.

The 1/8" material is still available just not listed on Avonite's website. You would need to find a distributor in your area to see about buying it. We are located in San Jose, CA and Avonite distributes direct in our area. It is on their 2010 pricelist and available in 21 colors.

I produce an 1/8 inch solid surface material called GraniteLite. It replicates Corian and is laminated to a high density polystyrene substrate and mdf backer. See RV-Sinks.com or email Kirk@RV-Sinks.com if I can be of further assistance.

You can buy 4'x8' sheets of 1/4" Azek in a lumberyard....Red
