Question Teak Dealers in Vancouver or Online ?

I need to buy some teak for various projects on the boat. Is there a good place in Vancouver, BC?
How about a few links to preferred online sellers?

One of the projects is a radar mast. The deck where the base will go curves in all directions making it very hard to make a base plate. I was going to trim and sand down the teak (trial and error approach) to give a flat, level surface for the mast base.
Would teak be the best, or should I try something else?

Try PJ White Hardwood 1200 East Kent St. 604 327 0241

I have never used them but just got off the phone with them regarding some teak I needed for a project as well. Good luck

I know of a lot of teak just lying on the ground waiting to be picked up in my boatyard. A solid teak bowspirit was going for 30 dollars. I would check the yards which are tearing down old wood boats.

Try Windosr plywood. There's one near Granville & 7th, and a few others throughout the lower mainland.

I have bought teak from PJs. Good selection. Teak is pricey, but your best bet for deckside projects.

If you ever need a few bits you could try Popeyes in North Van. They have some used doors etc..
