Yes Indeedy Boatman. The "holiday" party is next Tues, the 14 @ 1900 hours. I'll buy ya a brew mate. Liz stocks all that furrin stuff you Brits like to drink at room temp.

And to avoid thread drift (a sin I'm guilty of): Down with bottom paint!

This Irish sailor man, out n about lookin' fer some cheap bottom paint, passed a pub [hahaha ..that wasn't the joke... wait for it] and noticed a sale sign on the sidewalk stating: "All ye kin' drink fer a doller". The Irishman went in, slammed his money down, sayin: I'll have two dollers worth!"

[the sound of silence]

Well, I guess you had to be there.

We all pollute.

I'd guess 98% of the members of this forum are in the top 2% of polluters on the planet (if we include the pollution resulting from the industrial processes necessary to provide us with our consumables and services).

We have an opportunity to pollute less.

Please give this some thought the next time you antifoul the boat.

Okay, anyone remember the lat 38 bit about the sneakers that went overboard in a container? After 3-4 years ,plastic parts of the Nikes had no growth. I would've thought by now , that bottom coatings would've said "Nike", not SeahaWK.

That sounds great.

What sort of container does my boat have to be in to travel growth free?

I'm unalterably opposed to pollution... I met both of my ex wives polluted and it cost me big time! Thank goodness both marriages were ablative and I now have a 'clean' bottom (and bank account)!... Capt Phil

Sure... of course I do... if I'm sailing through BP's oil slick in the Gulf of Mexico.
Such purile comments do nothing for your argument, and add a hell of a lot of credibility to the comments I've already made...
