I just had an offer accepted on a boat in Vancouver BC. Can anyone recommend a surveyor in that area. I'm looking for someone who is very particuilar.

Based on past experience, I'd avoid Jan DeGroot. He seems to value a boat more by it's status symbol value rather than by how well it's put together.
