Super Simple Tip
I thought I would share a super simple tip we used to mark our new davit backing plates. I had originally seen it for hanging photos on the wall. We dabbed toothpaste on the bottom of the bolts, gently pressed the new backing plate up, then drilled the perfectly marked holes. They fit exactly on the first time. (smelled quite fresh too!)

Do you have more simple tips?
